Medical imaging major Carestream showcased its latest innovative solutions in medical imaging and healthcare IT systems at the 71st annual conference of the Indian Radiology & Imaging Association (IRIA) organised recently in Mumbai.
Carestream put on display an interactive touch wall which offered a first of its kind experience of Medical Imaging workflow. It exhibited the company’s innovative imaging solutions for acquiring, collaborating and sharing medical images.
The company highlighted innovative products like DRX-Evolution Plus — a fully automated, ceiling suspended digital X-ray system; DRX-Revolution — a mobile x-ray system with a fully automatic collapsible column; DRX Plus detector; and the Vita Flex CR system.

It performs both 2D and 3D extremity exams, which include weight-bearing studies, thus enabling physicians to view these body parts under natural load.

This focus has enabled us to develop products like the MyVue Centre Self Service Kiosk, Onsight 3D Extremity System , Vue Clinical Collaboration platform and several other products,” said Sushant Kinra, Managing Director, Carestream India.
This year’s theme of IRIA was: ‘Explore, Invent, Transform’. It was combined with the 17th Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology, making this a not-to-miss event in the annals of radiology conferences in India.
