Seeds of Innocence, India’s leading chain of IVF Centres, has become the 1st home grown and family-owned chain of IVF clinics to establish state of the art full-scope IVF Centre overseas with their newly launched centre in Muscat, Oman.

The premier medical facility has been established in partnership with Oman’s largest private healthcare group, Badr Al Samaa. The centre is powered with advanced infrastructure and a multidisciplinary team of Infertility specialists and embryologists. This newly launched centre in Oman is the first in the larger growth plan envisioned by Dr. Gauri Agarwal Co-Founder & Director of Seeds of Innocence, and we’ll soon see expansion in GCC, Africa & South America. Seeds of Innocence currently owns and operates 15 IVF & Fertility centers across 8 Indian states and was also the first IVF center in the country to have an in-house genetic testing lab, back in 2017.

The soft launch of the IVF Centre was graced by Mr A. Lateef and Dr. P.A Mohammed Managing Director(s), Badr Al Samaa Group who inaugurated the center in the presence of the team from Seeds of Innocence which included Dr. Gauri Agarwal, Co-Founder & Director, Ms Anjali Dubey, Business Head & their CEO Mr. Chetan Kohli.

Managing Directors of Badr Al Samaa welcomed Dr. Gauri Agarwal, specialist gynaecologist and IVF and Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, visiting consultant IVF.

Speaking on the occasion Abdul Latheef, Managing Director of Badr Al Samaa said that launching Infertility services is a reassurance of their vision of introducing advanced medical programs at regular intervals to ensure eventually no one has to travel outside the country for healthcare needs. He counted much on Seeds of Innocence expertise to ensure better results in IVF.

Dr. P A Mohammed, Managing Director of Badr Al Samaa said Oman has recently seen the surge in infertility cases and it was an appropriate time to start IVF for the first time in our group. He said with extraordinary skills of Dr. Gauri Agarwal and other doctors, embryologist and the state-of-the-art infrastructure Badr Al Samaa will be delivering best possible treatment for infertility at affordable prices

The Muscat centre is situated within Badr Al Samaa’s newest medical centre in Mabella, Muscat has been developed adhering to International Standards of medical infrastructure and facilities, and specializes in Assisted Reproductive Technologies, treatment of infertility, management of high risk pregnancies and genetic diagnostics. The IVF Centre is the group’s first International Centre and offers high-end genetic diagnostic tests for embryos such as Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) and Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) to eliminate genetical anomalies or inherited genetic diseases like Down Syndrome and other chromosomal disorders in foetus.

Describing the journey, Dr. Gauri Agarwal, Director and Co-founder, Seeds of Innocence, said “While we have been regularly conducting Infertility Screening camps in multiple international locations, including Africa, since many years, this will be our first comprehensive IVF unit overseas with dedicated full time team of gynaecologists, IVF specialists and embryologists. Being a GCC country, Oman also has a lot of consanguine marriages which leads to an increased risk for recessive disorders in the resulting offspring. This is where our expertise in IVF with reproductive genetics can be a boon for such couples.”

Adding to this Seeds of Innocence CEO Mr Chetan Kohli said “The roadmap plan of Seeds of Innocence in the region is to deal with the lack of access faced by couples in getting global standard quality and reliable treatment of infertility, and we couldn’t have asked for better partners than Oman’s largest healthcare Group, Badr al Samaa who are one of the most trusted name there. Our Muscat Centre is now operational and we look forward to expand our footprint in Bahrain and Qatar in GCC in addition to Africa and Latin America soon.”
