Manipal Hospital Ghaziabad felicitated blood donor for the noble cause
On Wednesday, Manipal Hospital, Ghaziabad, in Association with Lifeline Charitable Blood Bank, held a voluntary blood donation camp and honoured the donors. During the camp, over 85 people came forward to donate blood. Mementos and certificates were given to blood donors and organisers of the blood donation camp.
During the blood donation camp Mr. Atul Behll, Hospital Director, Manipal Hospital, Ghaziabad said, “Blood donation is a noble cause. Saving or assisting someone who is in danger of losing their life is the best service one can provide. On top of the benefits that come from helping others, there are health benefits for donors who donate blood.” As a result, it benefits both others and us. We hope that by holding this blood donation camp, we can raise public awareness about the importance of blood donation and help to further the noble cause of blood donation. It’s a call to action for people to volunteer to donate blood.”
